FS - Rose BTA

A couple of the rose BTA's have moved to the glass where we can "capture" them. Don't remember who was looking for them from last time, so reply or send me a pm. Tomorrow (Saturday) is a good time to stop by. I don't want to hold them, so first to stop by and pick up gets first choice. $50 ea.

There's one that's pretty small, probably about 2" deflated. There's another one that is probably 4-5" at least.
One is rather big, probably 6". Size is a relative thing with BTA's, as they change in size alot depending on the time of day and if they've been fed recently.
You're welcome to come take a look. Same price for all.

Wow they are gorgeous I would love one but the tank is only a little more than a month old and from what i have read i wouldn't want to kill it. Do you have them for sale often?

It took a couple days - but our RBTA finally anchored and opened up!

Here is a lousy pic from my crackberry:

I'll post a better pic when our camera makes its way home from the office.....

Thanks Rick & Terry!!

Hi Craig - I guess so. Don't know who Chris is, but guess he's not interested in the BTA. I think you were at one time - but that was probably last year - let me know....

hey rick....have your nems split recently? I'm just curious because I got two from you a while back and put them in seperate tanks.....then last week they both split the same night.

weird right? one is now two and the other is now three!

No, I've got eight all off of the same one...I made a dedicated tank for them now, so I'm full up...If you had any strange or wacky colored one's(orange or purple tips, etc.), that would be a different story:)...Thanks anyways

Question - since this is my first RBTA - are there any special things I should feed it?

I cut up some scallops last night and let the current push the bits into the RBTA.
It was something how it just opened up and pretty much inhaled the pieces

Also our clowns have finally noticed it - funny thing is the large clown is bigger than the anemone - but it still likes to get up inside it.

Mine is still doing good i just moved it down to the front it up was up in the back corner, hope it stays put. My female clown had finally noticed it but i am waiting for her to get back into it since the move.

I think I'll try feeding some scallops also. Basically any seafood they'll eat. I've fed mysis, krill, silversides, even globs of flake food.

Our RBTA's haven't split again - but I'm not feeding as heavy eather.

Very cool that the clowns have found them. Our orange & white clowns are too busy protecting their latest clutch of eggs which they strategically positioned half on the tile where a large frogspawn is glued, and half on the tile we placed in the tank for them to lay their eggs on. They've figured out somehow that the eggs they lay on that tile just seem to disappear, so I guess they're going to let us only take half of them this time.....

That's funny that they figured you out. Still hoping i can get mine to spawn and take to the RBTA. I just hope they do not become to aggressive towards the other tank mates.
