Hello Everyone,

My family and I just settled into our new house and had planned on upgrading our tank this year.

I have decided to sell my Red Sea Max 250 (RSM 250) 65 Gallon Complete Reef System. It is an all in one unit and it great for beginners or experienced enthusiasts. It is very easy to take care of because of it being and all in one unit and you do not change overflowing sumps or anything like that. I love this tank but would like to invest the money into our new system. I purchased this tank for over 1800 when I got it nearly a year ago.

It is clean and the cabinet matches the tank and looks very nice. I was going to start customizing it with a sump underneath and but have just decided to not chance ruining it and invest in the system I have been planning. The tank is in great condition. Everything works perfectly. There are no leaks whatsoever. The arms that hold the top up cracked due to me not locking them in place. They still work but only at half the height as normal. I was going to replace them under warranty but never got around to it during our move. Also, there is a small crack in the plastic at the base of the tank where the stand connects to it. It does not leak or affect the tanks strength, etc.

The tank has 6 T5's with built in with moon lights and a light timer. This works great for everyone without a tank controller. The built in skimmer works really well and is easily accessible in the back of the tank. It comes with its stock heater and pumps which together pump around 960gph. They definitely put out a lot of water! I actually changed the 640gph pump out for another 300 gph pump because it was nearly to much flow.

The back built in sump compartments hold the skimmer, heater, 2x return pumps, pad holder, and media area with bubble traps built in. This tank is absolutely amazing and I would like it to go to a good home. The cabinet underneath easily holds my Auto Top Off and neptune with computer and other power equipment as well as other tank supplies.

I am asking 1000obo. Again, I paid over 1800 about a year ago for this tank.

The wires look much cleaner but I am running the wires out the back of my tank to my Apex rather than using the built in power. Mind you I just hooked my Apex up 2 weeks ago and have used the built in switches and timers for the year I have had the tank.

This is where I keep it to minimize salt creep. I like agitation on the top created by my vortechs. I did run it previously higher when I did not have the vortechs.

Thanks

Thank you Murphs.

All, I just purchased all my new equipment for the new tank. I am taking it down tomorrow to start setting up the new tank. I would consider 800 for it. I do not have any room for the tank because the new tank is taking its spot..

Thank you
