I'm making some changes to my system .. again.

I alway play around with skimmers, and test out different ones ... I'll most likely be testing out a cone skimmer after this one, or get a custom built one. haven't made up my mind yet .... I also have the option to buy a used BK for a decent price ...




This skimmer has been working great! It sure is one 'heck' of a skimmer. Quiet, calm inside the chamber due to the diffuser, easy to work with, great craftsmanship .... solid built. In terms of Bang for the buck - this one gets it done.

Im familiar with the skimmer but was hoping to get a decent price for it.
This would certainly fit y future needs 400-500 sps tank.
Anyways thx but seems to be the same price as new correct.

Yes, it is priced close to new, as it is almost new.
I would be happy to meet/deliver up to 120 miles for free on full price purchase. Then there would be no shipping charges if you order new, or if you pick up a store such as FAOIS no tax and surcharge.

Marco, I only have one word, WHAT!!!, I thought that this was the one, at this rate you are going through skimmers almost as fast as GF , I would love to buy it for my new tank but that is out of my budget. What is a cone skimmer?

HAHAHA.
Like I told you when I was over last week, I DO LIKE this skimmer ALOT. In the short period that I have had it, it has been nothing but great for me. I have NOT had it overflow, or do any other weird things.

no, I cannot do that. I'm not looking at holding a firesale - If this unit sells, it sells - if not, I'm not going to force it. I don't have my future plans set in stone, and i don't have to sell this unit. I am happy with the way it performs, very happy i may add. But do have a little itch to try another skimmer ...

I do understand.
i'm currently in the process of elimnation for my future project and this particular skimmer is on the list as well as deltec and perhaps prototype bk.
I've also looked at mrc and recently was curious about a bermuda.
Most likely I would not use a dd since the type has been with me for many many moons and I will consider a more energy efficient skimmer.
Thx 4 your time.
Perhaps u can tell me your previous skimmers and their functionality as well as customer service and most importanly set and forget feautres since I'm not much of an equipment tinker.
