How big would you say those chromis are?

Just worried my trigger may take them out if they're too small

chromis are mostly small, my trigger doesnt really like them but he hasnt killed em. how big is your trigger?

eric you got it.

He's a Humu Picasso. I named him Pablo. Lol. Get it? He's like 4 inches. Seems peaceful with the other fish even when my yellow tang attacked him. But he does go for my fingers if they touch the water.

never thought about putting a huma in a reef tank, thats cool. id say my niger is about 2.5-3 inches, and only chased them around for the first day. leaves them alone after that. so i dont know.

I really like him. I thought about it forever and read lots on them. Most people had success with them in reefs having them well fed. Which is what I'm doing. So far he hasn't bothered anything at all. All hermits are still there even tho the first few days they hid as soon as he hit the water. He even avoided the tang when it was being attacked. So I think then chromis may be fine. I'll take them.

Key to "non-reef safe" fish-- feed the crap out of them. That's how I had success with them. The more you feed and acclimate them to prepared foods, the least likely they will go after inverts, corals, etc. Just food for thought!!

yup, ive caught my multicolor angel nip at a coral a couple times, but he nips at every piece of equipment, rock, glass most the time.

guy up in rio rancho wanted a couple of things, but i cant go up to cruces right now anyways. damn. soon didnt mean in the next half hour !!! hahahaha

who was it? Let me ask the wife. If you can make it to Cruces in the next hour or 2, we can wait. Or let me ask the boss. lol. Text me: 602 999 8465.
