what skimmer did it hole in there. I have a g3 and need a 12"X12" space
Once you divide a sump that small into so many partitions you can't really every put a nice skimmer in there or a nice size pump. It's a neat design, it's just a little too tight for a sump that small.
Plus the fuge is too small to be a real fuge. You could use it for nutient export. (macro algae), but it's too small to cultivate enough pods for more than a very small tank.
And are you sure it's 30 gallons? I have a 30 gallon sump and its 14" wide just like yours and 16" tall like yours but it's 36" long.
Maybe I'm on crack.
