Well my newer reef octopus 200 skimmer will not fit in this sump no matter which way I try. This sump was used for maybe 2 months and was recently cleaned. There is no cracks, chips, or any other issues with this at all. Comes with both crates as well as a 1" slip bulkhead for the filter sock portion. Please see all specs below regarding this sump:

Looking for $200 local or will ship at buyers expense.

Dimensions: 30L x 12"W x 15"H
Drain/skimmer section: 11" x 11.5"
Center/Refugium section: 9.5" x 11.5"
Return Pump section: 6" x 11.5"
Total Water Volume: 21.3 gallons
Skimmer water level fixed: 9.5"




 
I have the same sump and had the same problem. I bought it new and couldn't get anywhere near what I paid for it. It's built great so I decided to keep it and mod it to accomidate my skimmer. I actually even made another sock holder and added it aswell for bean animal overflow. I've since replumbed the system but here it is when I finished the cut. Very happy I did it and love the extra space, considering I don't run a fuge.



 
I've spoke with my other half about it tonight.
Next week I can give you $175 for it.
I have to get it drilled for my external return pump, and add a 1" bulkhead.

Please let me know if this will suffice. I hope so.
