For sale:
Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9005 - $45
JBJ?/CurrentUSA? 28g nano with 150W MH - $95
CO2 reg with solenoid and bubble counter - NIB: $50
For sale is a used, dirty -- but in good condition 28g cube aquarium.
This tank is in great physical condition - very few scratches, holds water, etc... Needs some elbow grease with vinegar and a razor blade.
Comes with what is shown in the photos -- tank, cover, single filter sponge, and light.
The light is in rough shape. At its core is a 150W 10000k metal halide fixture. As the photo shows, it still works fine. Fixture was modified to add a fluorescent ballast and two additional fluorescent bulbs -- weaker output but helped with dawn and dusk lighting. The ballast works, but the bulbs and endcaps are shot. I have no idea as to the condition of the blue/white LED moonlighting.
You want to get into keeping a reef tank -- and do it for cheap? Go for this tank/light. Worked for me!
Local pickup or meet and drop only! Too fragile to ship in my opinion.
Also, no cashiers checks. Paypal or cash only.
-----------------
Good condition skimmer -- great for small to medium tank.
Designed to operate in tank. There is a big ole magnet to hold it in place at the correct depth. Seemed to work best in this configuration.
That said, I also ran it in sump using the (included) in sump conversion kit. Skimmer was a bit more finicky with this conversion, but still works.
Very quiet -- and Tunze quality at a killer price. Just the sump conversion was almost $50!
