what water level can this monster be ran in and how did you like it?

Its in about 8" of water, its a good Skimmer. I just want something bigger so when the time come for the 205G I don't have to buy a new Skimmer. I am sure this thing could do the job, but with 2 75G sump i don't. Wanna try.
