Hi folks,

I have a frag of a Kenia Tree and one of Pink Pulsing Xenia that I would like to trade for some other frags. Maybe someone has Galaxia or maybe some LPS, SPS or ZOA's.

PM me if you are interested. I am near Temple Terrace and can always meet you at one of our LFS like Marine Warehouse or Reef Aquarium.

This is one of the frags, but this one has already been traded. The one I have left has only one head.

This is the actual Kenya on a rock, but the only I have is with the lights off. (Sorry! and yes, it is held on the side glass with a magnetic holder. In case you are wondering why is floating.)

Xenia and Kenya trees are both neat corals in my opinion. There are lots of stories of them getting out of hand and choking out other corals though. I can't keep either one alive in my system lol they just melt away for some reason.

I've heard that before. They grow good in my tank. I get a couple of frags from each every month. You do have to keep them on their own little island of rocks or they will go everywhere.

Yes. Depending on the frag size and type, they give me a $3, $5 or $7 credit. I know its not nearly enough, but the alternative is to throw them away for lack of space in my tank.

Any credit is better than nothing lol. And with fast growing corals the credits can help to cover the cost of food, test kits, light bulbs, and new corals. Plus you build a relationship with the store owner which can be priceless when you run into problems.

I would much rather get a little credit than throw something away!

Totally agree. Please note that not all of them will do it and some prefer just for you to trade for other corals at a discount rate, but I think that LFS that do this and support the hobby are great.
