Has any had these babies in a reef tank. When they say small fish what is small. can they eat big cleaner shrimp. Thanks

how is that vague? Just wanted some more information. If you want more information then my smallest fish is a chromis.

the fu man chu may be small but it does have a large mouth. i wouldn't put it past eating your shrimp or even that chromis. they are fun to watch tho.

might want to tart by reading up on lionfish here.

as for Fu's, they are a difficult lion, but overall they have a much smaller mouth than the other dwarfs. However they will still try to eat anything that fits. Not sure about cleaner shrimps per say, as I've had a mixed success w/ any lions and cleaners. But smal fish, peppermint shrimp, etc are definately food

I think he meant that you didn't specify the lionfish part. You just said "fu manchu."

they are hard to wean to frozen, usually need live. the link to the care sheet is right on where it concerns fu manchu lions. probably one of the more challenging lionfish, and needs tankmates that won't outcompete it for food. fine in a reef except they will eat shrimp, I wouldn't count on a cleaner being safe.
