Fug,skimmer & UV placement in a sump??

I have my fug & sump set up this way.

Drain from tank teed off to Fug. (DSB,LRR & Chaeto) 250GPH
& other end of tee going to skimmer area 500GPH.

My fug then overflows to skimmer area then return pump area.
My UV is in the return pump area.

questions are:
Does this sound Ok as is?
I was planning on re-directing the fug overflow directly to the return area(via pipe). Then put my UV in the skimmer area. So that the pods from the fug go directly up to the main tank.

you may want to put the UV filter upstream of the fuge outlet, so that pods and what not don't go through it and get cooked before being sent to the tank... just a thought

Makes sense.
I will move the UV in the skimmer area. & the output of the UV i will direct to the return pump.

Also putting the fug drain directed towards the return area as well.

any other thought?

Do i need to put a filter bag on the drain pip from the tank to the fug?

that's up to you... if you clean your filter bags regularly, then by all means go for it. But otherwise, just siphon out the detritus occasionally that may collect on the bottom of the fuge... no worries! post some pics of yuor set up if u can.
