fuge ATO

i am adding a HOB fuge to my 29 gallon reef, it will be supplied by a small pump, a minijet 404

i was thinking of adding a float switch in here to power an ATO with an aqualifter, will this work?

or will it not do anything?

im tryign to think if the tank water drops, will the fuge show any drop in water...

i dont realyl want a float switch in my reef(no sump, so everything is HOB)

You can't have a float switch in a HOB fuge. It won't work since the water level in the fuge will always be the same.

Correct! I wouldn't really place it in the display tank either because of the water surface agitation, snails, etc.
