Fuge inhabitants

Can a fuge built for nutrient export with chaeto and a growing light have any useful inhabitants? I was considering just having a bare bottom for easy detritus cleanup.

I had hermit and emerald crabs in mine..
49 gallon bow front fuge w/ 100+lbs of live rock

My cheato was over run and decimated by a cyano then GHA outbreak..

So now I'm building a xenia fuge.. also have 2 baby mandarins in there somewhere... about an inch long now..theu were about a half inch when I got them..

Also have a big decorator crab down there somewhere.. at least I think... I haven't seen it since the day I put it in

Oh oh. And 100s of manajo and aptasia as well (not intentional) so I'm gonna add some pep shrimp to the fuge as well

And I have stamolla and I forget the name of the other snails lol

Sure.. I have snails, crabs and bristleworms that roam in my fuge..
I have thousands of bristle worms as well..

When I clean my upflow ats.. I float all the gha and pick out all of the baby bristle worms and ampipods

Definitely go bare bottom imo. I shop vac all the detritus out every once in a while.
