Fuge Leaking

I have a acrylic fuge that has a very slow leak in it. I believe I located the general area of the leak. Any advise on how to fix it?

drain it, then use weldon #16

yeh, weld on will definitely fix it. Is it a crack? or a seal problem? How's the tank lookin by the way JD? haven't heard of any updates from you since the stand and canopy haha.

Well it's a mess, I put on so many coats of sealer outside and the inside but I went stupid and didn't lay it on it's back to do the bottom. So the water worked it's way up the inside. So I have two discolored area's on the two back corners…..nice.

As for the fuge, I drained it and put the contents into a cooler and have a pump returning the water from above so its splashes down. I took the now cleaned and dried fuge and added water and placed it on top of paper towels to find the bad area. No cracks just a bad seal. So I would imagine I can pick up weldon 16 from a hobby store?

Well the local Hobby store doesn't have weldon 16, any place in the Cerritos, Lakewood area that would sell it?

Try any local plastics manufacturer...............that's where I found mine

Thanks for the advace, but can anyone tell me how to find a plastics mfr? Or someplace I can buy it? I can order online but not sure how much longer I can keep using the ice chest.

That's rough, so you haven't been able to start up the tank yet? You can try at a LFS if you can't find it. They might charge a little more, but its better than driving around looking for it.
