Fuge lighting question

How long do you all leave your light on? I have cheato and some LR in mine.

For those that do a reverse cycle, is there a period of total darkness without any lights on the DT or the sump/refugium.

nope. fuge comes on then tank goes off. tank goes on then fuge goes off.

What if your running pcs and metal halids? Would you turn the fuge light off when the attinics come on or when the MH comes on?

i run reverse cycle but there is a 1 hour gap of darkness

Reverse cycle here....

All plants need a period of time to break from photsynthesis (at least 4 hours) so the max one should leave a fuge light on is 20hrs/day.
