IMHO, Cheatomorpha is the best macroalgae to use for SW aquariums since there are no problems with it going asexual and it can be lit 24/7. Macroalgae are normally kept in a sump where they do a great job removing phosphates from your water which helps to keep nuisance algaes under control.
