Full blown tank for sale.

So the time has come with a baby on the way and an increased workload for me to sell my tank. I want to sell it all as one. And I am not entertaining the idea of selling it parted out. And for those asking, there was an outbreak of red bugs a while ago, however, I treated with Interceptor and all is gone and has been for almost two months now with no sign.

This system is plug and play. If you buy it local, you could have it set-up and running in your house in one day. Everything is less than 1 1/2 years old. Most of it is less than a year as some things were upgraded. Everything is in excellent working condition with no mods. The tank itself is healthy. It has been suffering from lack of water changes but everything is alive and kicking.

So here it is:

75 AGA reef ready tank
Custom built stand and canopy built to accomodate 120 if you want to upgrade.
40g Breeder Sump
2 250w 20k Radiums (3-4 months old) pushed by Lumateks in Lumen Bright Minis
Octo 200nw Skimmer

Several Maxijet 1200s and one 400
Phosban Reactor with plenty of Carbon and phosban media

Several Coralife Therms and a Pinpoint therm and probe
1 Grounding probe
1 water general 100gpd RO/Di with 2 DI horizontal chambers. Have extra resin and all filters were upgraded 2 months ago to top of the line (forget the name) bought from Bulk Reef Supply.
1 Hospital Tank Setup 20g filter, heater, powerhead, lighted top
Several Chemicals, i.e. Turbo calcium, mag, kalk, carbon, phosban, 2 part, etc.
All utensils needed.

2 6 gallon containers for water storage
Several salt buckets

I have a ton of money invested in it. But I am viewing this as a stop loss now. I don't have time to take care of it anymore. I have over 6k invested. Obviously, it is pick up only. I will help load into your truck/van or we can work out something to help you move as I have a large truck.

I am willing to let this all go for $2000 OBRO. I want this gone.

You can PM me or email me at kris.kuball@gmail.com or call me at 704-519-5598.

Thanks for your time.

Kris

I know you wanna do this as a complete sale... But if you do decide to part out on any of the livestock lemme know.

Anyone a member of Charleston reefers message board and doesn't mind posting a link?

I can't believe no one is interested in this tank. It is a sweet setup and someone with time on their hands could buy this and part out for profit and keep what they need for free.

I need this gone. Please help.

Thanks,

Kris

Very rarely do you find someone to take a full blown setup with livestock. Even when they move the tank it will cycle and it puts livestock at risk. Good luck on selling it but 9 times out of 10 unless you post its super low priced like a third of what you put into it or part it out... It will sit there for a long time.

I do understand this. I have sold a tank before. If someone was to offer to buy the livestock, I would absolutely oblige. I just can't do anything in regards to parting out until then.

Dave post this in another thread hope it helps

There are a number of other clubs in the area that have websites which allow you to post in the sales section for free.

CMAC in Columbia and the Charleston Reefers

Considering there are more people on here selling tanks than actively keeping fish, I thought diversification might be a good strategy.

Another advantage of posting out of town is that Columbia and Charleston are both incredibly overpriced. A good deal here is a GREAT deal there.

Still for sale. Will consider offers for livestock in bulk. I cannot risk breaking coral and moving everything around to get one or two fish. One could easily buy all the livestock and trade what you don't want. If I sell all livestock, I will begin piecing out the tank.

I'm interested in the frogspawn, and the zoos. maybe even the 3 chromis. I'd like to see pics of the frogspawn and zoos.

Thanks,
Fred H.

I still haven't had a sec to take pictures with lights on. I have been getting home after 9:00pm and timer is off. I currently have 3 people interested in everything. I am waiting on their commitments. If I don't have offers after that I will begin piecing out livestock.

I really want to see the livestock go to good homes, especially the fish.

I have the livestock sold. It will be picked up Saturday along with a few items on the tank.

I will begin piecing out the rest afterwards. Locals first of course!

I will price it out after Saturday.

However, if anyone is looking for the complete setup without livestock. $700 takes the cake!
