Thanks again dugg but I've been to Sacremento and do not wish to, nor could afford to live there. I know you're trying to be helpful but unfortunately without truly knowing me as close as a friend or family would your suggestions come off sounding condescending. Its actually not computer work that I want to do, or at least not in the computer science aspect of it.

Drug culture isn't an issue if you aren't involved in drugs, imo. There's tons of it here but I won't go near it with a 10 foot pole. Over 50% of Seattle's population has a college degree and over 80% have a library card. It has many other qualities that I am certainly looking for.

My sister-in-law lives in Sacrmento so I've been there a few times before and the culture there is just not my thing.

Well good luck to you then, i'll just keep my mouth shut i guess. Was just trying to help because i have been to every state in this country at least once. A good friend of mine in Oklahoma owns a travel agency, so i did a lot of traveling for free over the years. Again good luck to you in whatever you do and where ever you end up. I consider anyone and everyone a friend until they show me different. I guess you just put that in perspective for me lol.

I mean no offense, its just that you haven't spent the last year in my shoes on the hunt for a job figuring out exactly what it is you want to do in life. Its just a tough economy to do so but if I was open to doing other things I would have figured them out and be doing them by now. Its just a poor economy and something to wait out.

I really do put in about 20+ hours a week searchign for jobs and internships at places I want to be at and I also have a husband who has a say in the matter too. These are just a few factors that go into a situation that unless you're me or my husband, unfortunately you can't help more beyond kind words.. But thank you for your kind feelings though.

You are correct. At 43 years old, i have had everything just fall in my lap in my life, and never had to hunt for a job in a bad economy or figure out what i wanted to do with my life, or ever having even seen the economy on the down side. Not being a close friend or family member, or having walked in your shoes for a year, i would hate to burden you with my nest egg and purchase your tank at it's full NEW retail value. Thanks anyway though
