Not the best I know but prolly the best I have ever taken! I even did the auto levels in Photoshop! didnt see much change but then again my monitor is 6 years old!!

wow those are great. I can take amazing coral shots, but my camera cant take any fish shots for nothing. i might have to mess with the settings more though.

tried doing some astrogazer technique. not the best, about 5 min in photoshop, but was my first time :)

Well we need to have a photo contest, were everybody get to submit one photo. Then we take a vote on the best photo.

Nice job all ... keep it up. Photoshop is daunting until you get the hang of it. Auto Contrast and then Auto levels (both under the image menu, under adjustments), then a little unsharp masking is usually all you need.
Although learning to play with the variations options (image menu ... adjustments ... variations) will give you tremendous control of color balancing of the highlights, mid-tones and shadows as well as color saturation.

Bawla ... you can try either using your flash or increasing the ISO setting on your camera to 'freeze' the fish.

i guess i could have cut him out a tad better... lol

Better then I can do!! stupid mouse!! Anyways, lets do a photo contest! Post our best on here do one of the poll threads and announced it at the frag swap! No idea what you'd win but it could be fun! and it gives everyone a chance to show off their tank!!

I think I could net a prize for the contest as well as introduce a nice new member to the organization. Probably wouldn't happen till the next 'real' meeting. If an officer of the FMAS will PM me, we could probably work out the details.
