It's much brighter than the usual wee uv lights we see at frag swaps. It's bright enough that I intend to use it as the primary light source for night shots of corals.
I enjoy using it when the tank is dark to see the fluorescence of my corals. I expect things like kryptonite candy canes to pop, and boy do they! There are surprises too, like the body of my pink lemonade glowing. The grass green body of my Lithophylon also fluoresces insanely brightly. My blue Stylophora looks so different with the polyps only lit up.
