My longnose butterfly fish doesnt seem right. Aside from a few specks of ich, its fins have a few spots of cloudiness. Also, under its mouth there appears to be a brown"fuzzy" patch. Its eating fine, but Im still concerned.

Meds on hand are neomycin sulfate, methylene blue, formalin, triple sulfa i believe. Any ideas?

Bacterial issues often accompany ich problems ... ich creates open sores and bacteria tend to be opportunistic.

I would suggest QTing all of your fish and treating for ich ... hyposalinity would be easiest on the fish and IMO easier to administer than copper. Leave your ST without fish for 5-6 weeks and the ich within the ST will die off.

While the fish is in QT you can also administer an antibiotic (neomycin should work fine) .. but don't use antibiotics within the ST.
