My fungia has not been open since I cut the little piece of rock it was on and tried to get it on the sand where i was told it would do better. WELL since adding it to the sand bed it has not been happy. it was doing ok and it got to the point that it was not even opening. I put it back up where i used to have it and I have seen it open a couple times. It is not even eating like it use to. I have no clue what to do about it. Everything else in the tank is doing great so all of my water prams is good. anyone have any ideas on what it is doing or what i can do to help it..... i dont see any tissue loss or anything it is just sucked down. The rock it was on was on had a tone of polyps on it and i just so happen to have 3 fungia tag alongs. they have grown so well and fast I dont want to loose it.
NOW for the flower pot. I have been noticing that it has been turning brownish. I could sware that it was a good bright green with little brownish ting to it. now my wife on the other hand says that it is brown like the others in the lfs. the only thing I can think of is I had to move a bunch of rock causing a nitrate spike. I have managed to get the nitrate under control and back down. I have a nother large water change coming up to get it back down to 0. it wend from 60+ to lower than 20. The whole time it was at high levels non of the corals showed any signs of distress. now that the levels are down I am wondering if it is truning brown because that is what it is suppost to be. Anyone have a flower pot that changes colors or has one that went from green to brown or has any clue as to why or if it should be doing this.
