Fungiid Show Off

Hollback, what a rare specimen you have there. So who's got the Jesus Fungia? I bet that would sell for big money on eBay.

Here is one of mine. The only place I ever seen another one exactly like it is on a Japanese website selling corals.

Oh wow that specimen is spectacular! I can just barely make out the colored rim and I bet this guy looks wicked under actinics alone. Thanks for sharing.

That was an old shot I took a couple new pics of my show tank today. Let me make it clear it is NOT for sale.

Hollback,

That is really spectacular. How long have you had it?

Matthew

I've had it about 4 years. It started about the diameter of a pop can and is now expands to about the size of a coffee saucer. It is really puffy and swells up more than most similar species I've seen.

Lincoln is obviously Photoshop joke.

got my very first one of these last month. Is exactly like the picture of the fungia paumotensis. Love to watch it eat. Mine seems to protect itself from curious snails and such when it's eating. (Hey Hollback, if you ever accidentally break a little piece off, I'm just down the road.:) It has only moved around a little so far, but I've let it have a nice front corner all to itself.

I recently came into possession of a multicolor Pink Cyclo with a blue rim...

Its got Green Tenticles with silver tips, a pink/burgendy interesting flourescent body color and flouresces brightly around the edge and mouth with pink, and has a blue rim...

I aquired it from a deceased friend who had to tear her aquarium down because she was unable to care for it.

It is truely beautiful... but my camera SUCKS and I will have to try to get a picture with it from a friends camera!

As you can see, some of them have bad spots from a lighting catastrophe several months ago, they are healing but slowly.

Wow, some of these things are amazing! Every time I see these at the lfs they are retracted.
Some of these are the most beautifull specimens I have ver seen!
Mucho props to you folks!!
