fungus, coral...?

Hey guys, was wondering if someone could tell me what I have found on the back of one of my live rocks, just by description. It is yellow/green, has coved the whole side of the rock, and is like criss, cross stirings against the rock. It looks to be like the think spaghetti, it is a pretty color of yellow/green. I just wondered if it is bad and if I should get it out.

Poke it with something and see if it moves.

Don't poke it, it could be something delicate. It sounds like chaeto that has been under 24/7 lighting, but i'm sure you would have known if it was that.

Probably a sponge.... I have all kinds of them in my tank. They usually grow on the backside of the rocks. I do not think most of them like very much light.
