Hey guys,
the guy who helped me setup my tank acted like he knew everything so I took him at his word on a lot of things I wish I hadn't. For one he recommended not getting a sump with a refuge so I have the following:
Not much room for macro (except maybe under the eggcrate between the baffles.
Sooo... My thought was to put the macro in my main tank. I have a dual sided tank and there are a couple places where I could tuck some macro. Now I have to decide on the type of macro though.
Considerations:
1. I have a tang. Is he going to decimate any macro I put in?
2. It has to look decent, it is the main tank.
3. It can not be known to go sexual or have similar problems.
Caulerpa is out due to the sexual - melt down issues.
I would like Chaeto, but in a main tank? Maybe I could run fishing line through it and tie it to a rock so it takes on more of a plant shape...
What about Halimeda? Manatee Grass? Codium? Any of you ever raise these?
Thanks!
