(funny) first time using house heater

well a few years ago when i first moved to fl ( about 10 years)
we experianced our first night like last night

we turned ont he heater.
minutes later we smelt smoke
we couldent find where it came from
we left the house with all the animals
( this was at 1 am just got back from the keys)

fire department came and about 1.5 hours later found what happend.. the idiots who installed the ac unit get this left the instructions on the heating elements!





lucky last night had no probloms.. still didnt look at the prop tanks yet tho

Holy crap, that's funny! My Ac guys were about as stupid... they ran the wiring of the ac UNDER the ac unit, instead of through the clamp. They left the conduit loose on the wall. They put too much duct up the side of the wall, and it fell down as they pushed it closer to the house and it crimped and restricted the flow. I asked about the air coming from the vents, and they said "this unit has a 3 speed fan, it only goes high when it needs to, hence the savings!" The next day, the air wasn't coming out at all. Needless to say the ac froze over. I'll never recommend these guys to anyone!
