funny growth tip?

Tank is stable.
Lighting 250w mh 20k radium with led supplemental lighting.
Temp 77.5
Ph 7.8
Alk 8.7
Cal 430
Mag 1310
Po4 .04-.06
No3 .25

C front and center. Thought it was a burnt tip but now looks like polyps growing out of it. Tank running on calcium reactor.

I recently had an issue similar to this. One of the frags I recently picked up had a tip that looked exactly like yours. I thought it was a case of STN or a bleached tip - too much white to have been growth. Luckily, after a week or two, the color came right back and the coral is doing just fine. Keep an eye on it for a bit and see how it progresses.

if so, your ca++ was not in range about 1.5 weeks Ago Id say.

Really calcium was off? Low or high? It's on calcium reactor and I check alk,cal,mag, po4,no3 on every Tuesday never had an issue
 
I could be wrong or there could be other things causing it, of course. but usually in my experience, corals do weird things like that when CA++ is high. sometimes I even notice a bubbly kind of thing [looks like ure pic] where SPS branches bend, when CA is too high.

one of the possibilities :)
