My wife called me this afternoon and asked if a crab will eat snails.
Well, I set up her 10g nano that is on her desk so I KNOW she doesn't have any crabs.
So, I said that it is possible and asked if she had any hermit crabs or something in the tank. She said, no but there's a dead snail and she saw a crab and knows what rock it's in. I asked if it was like a tiny blue crab but hairy. Yep, that's it.
I told her he is a gorilla crab and can in fact eat snails.
She asked what to do and I told her to dunk the rock in fresh water to get the crab out or just bring the rock home. She asked why I wanted the crab.
After he ate her snail she was VERY HAPPY when I told her he would be food for the mantis.
I was pretty surprised that she was hapy to hear that the mantis would get him....
