Furan - 2 not working...

I ran through a course of Furan - 2 on my Royal Gramma with popeye. No effect. I am currently running through a course of EM as it is suppose to treat popeye as well. Any other suggestions?

Don't treat with the lights on, as many antibiotics are light sensitive and degrade. Make sure you treat in quarantine. Try Maracyn2 instead.

Check on the No light on the tank and it is in a seperate QT tank. I will give the Maracyn2 a try. Any chance that the infection has been stopped but I waited too long to treat it and the eye is permanently like that? I had a hard time getting a hold of the Furan - 2 so it went for almost a week before treatment began. I didn't really notice his eye swollen for a couple of days and then it took a couple days to get a hold of the furan.

I don't know if the infection has stopped. Hopefully the Maracyn will be more effective. Keep me updated. Good luck.
