I don't know, sort of looks like my male Clarkii, here are some pictures of it.

Here is a bad one of both the male and female, can see the difference b/t the tails.

They are Clarki clowns. The larger fish has male tail fin color. The smaller fish has juvenile tail fin color. As they develop into a breeding pair the larger fish will likely lose the yellow borders as it becomes a female and the smaller fish will get them as it becomes a functioning male.

The unique tail is one of the main identifying marks of fuscocaudatus. In addition you are not likely to find any because they are only found in the Seychelles Islands which are a World Wildlife Refuge. (You can't collect there)

I agree with everything Phil said, but I have connections and can get several fuscocaudatus. However, they would cost me $250-$350 each, plus all the expense of shipping and importations. It is good to have friends in high places-now if I only had a bunch of spare dough.

Buy some fuscos for us. Seriously, a group buy would do wonders for our clownfish efforts (someone will get lucky and have a spawning).

I think normally people go to jail for collecting at WWRs... Not sure what happens to those collectors in the Seychelles...

Yeah, really. That usually works. In doing some reading, I get the impression that not all the islands are WWRs. Only 2 sites at the atolls (Praslin and Aldabra). Also, some marine parks. That leaves a lot of potential collecting areas if the government allowed it. Never seen any fish from there, so probably tighter controlled than Australia (if any). Too bad, eh? Mr&Mrs Clown got us all excited.

Heterodonut - Consider it a challenge. Bring some in.
