just curious as to others thoughts. I'm on the fence about switching from both T5 and MH to LED's or more simply when to do it.
Just as LCD flat screens, blue rays, GPS and numerous others have leveled off. When does everyone think LED's for tanks will have reached the combination of latest technology and lowest cost. I realize this is kind of a tough question to answer as things continuously improve but it seems we're at a point now where we can create equivalent lighting for 250W MH systems. I have to guess that at some point the cost of LED's is going to drop drastically as they start to replace everything with them.
Also, I'm guessing there are more people like me out there waiting. What price point is going to get you to make the jump? Personally for me its got to be $200 or less per 2ft controllable (dimable)
