Fuzzy dwarf and Fu manchu????

Well i have a fuzzy that eats mysis well and i just biught a fu manchu recently and introduced them to one another and my question is will the live together or not?? But l;et me say that when first inro. the bigger of the two "fuzzy" seem to buddy with the Fu like lowered his fins and kinda went nose to back which was really weird but this went on for 2-3 mins and they went their ways but i have them seperated with a plastic barrier.


i plan to put them in the 150 reef when the fu is eating mysis

150 gallon in wall reef
30 gallon hosp. tank (lionfish)

well phil this is a question you should probally ask BEFORE u buy something.

but yes they can coexist. u need to get the FU eating aggresivly before introducing to the tank.

intro the FU first if possible. then the fuzzy

one of my fuzzies is super agressive and others are not. so u never know

ya you're right kinda had to act fast on the fu he been eating ghost shrimp since the first day i have had him so i was a little excited when i saw him.

Mysis alone isn't as varied a diet as your lions will need for top health, and as they grow, they may eventually need larger food items anyhow. SW fish flesh, raw, shell-on table shrimp, scalolops, squid, and silversides are all excellent foods, and buying small amounts of these foods at your grocer's seafood counter or the local fish market is pretty cheap.

Also, unless your fu turns out to be an aggressive feeder, and can keep up with your fuzzies, it will likely need to be target fed to be sure it's getting a proper diet.

Just a couple of things to consider.

I have 2 fus and a fuzzy who happily live together in a 65g. I target feed them all although the fuzzy is a pig.
