FW plant help

I know this isn't the right place, but I thought it would be the best place to ask for a good recommendation.

I'm wanting to start a side FW tank with african cichlids and FW plants. My goal was to supplement CO2 running underneath the sandbed.

Does anyone know of a good forum or some helpful links that would point me in the right direction?

Thanks for everyone's help.

man its too bad you live too far away i have breeding cichlids in a planted tank, i am trying to get ridd of them to i can set the tank up as saltwater, i have been selling the fry to fund my saltwater tank

Ok. URL code not working. Do a google for Hoa Nguyen's Planted Aquarium.

Good luck with some of the Africans. If I were doing planted / cichlid, I'd go South American - discus, angels, rams, and the like. Much easier on the old plants ;). Good luck!

And just to further keep this off topic, (oh well!), there are several West African dwarfs that do beautifully in planted aquariums. Not the Rift lake dwarfs (the shellies) either, but the riverine species. My favorite of them was Pelvicachromis taeniatus. I miss those fish. They were such a joy to watch raise babies every few months.
