galaxea bleaching

I have a neon galaxea bleaching white, usually dark florecent green polyp tentacles with white tips on a dark brown mat. The mat is also turning a whites green.
All other LPS and softies doing fine, and the water tests out fine.
Any ideas on what is causeing this or how to treat.
I just did a Lugols dip.(was that good or bad idea)

The dip shouldn't have done anything. Where is it placed? How long have you had it? What kind of lights? All parameters that you can provide.

I have had it about 8 months
It is placed on the bottom of tank same place it has always been
I have PC's for lights 10k and 03 antics I did change the bulbs about 6 weeks ago (it started to fad about 1 1/2 weeks ago)
And the water test right where it is suppose to be
It had been doing great growing always extended and great color (it is still opening)
But now it is white in stead of dark green
