Galaxea Coral Question

I'm sorry to ask guys this might be a noob question but could any of you tell me what this white stuff growing out of the coral is? I'm not sure if it is just a new section that is growing out or if it is something bad. Any information would be much appreciated!

I would just leave it alone. It poses no threat to that coral at all.

Those type of sponges are harmless filter feeders.
