Galaxia and green Button Polyp bleaching

I have two nice colonies of Galaxia and Green Button Polyp on the sand on my 24" deep tank. I was running 48 LED's. Royal Blues at 70% and Cool Whites at 50%. Everyone seemed happy. I was getting a Shadow on the front of my rock work so I added a small LED fixture (2CW, 3UV, 4 RB) across the front. I am running that fixture at 50% and turned down my main RB's and CW's to 60% and 30%. I started to notice the body of the button polys and the Matt of the Galaxia turning from a Hot Chocolate color to a pail color. I turned my lights way down (30% on the fronts, 20% on the CW's and 60% on the RB's) and will slowly bump them back up if my corals look better.

In doing some research on clams I was reading that clams with low light can bleach out before they die. Will these corals bleach from too little light?

Well with my lights down soo low, my frog spawn is not too happy. I wonder how long I need to wait to increase the light?

I would do about a 10% increase a day.. To note how long have you had the LED's? I have heard that with the increased growth on sps from LED's that you can experience an alk drop which could result in bleaching

I have had the led's from day 1... I have had these corals since Black Firday. The new led's I added were probablyto blame. I have had them all down for about a week now. I am not sure how long it will take the color to come back. The alk has been in the steady 9's since day 1
