Guys! I cam home today and I found one in the left corner out in the open! Shot some cyclopeeze and nori in tank and he was eating!!! Now if the one in the crevace can come out...

I'm happy though!

They will come out eventually if they don't have tankmates that pester them. Takes anywhere from a few days to a week. Just give them the deep sandbed and don't disturb them. Live baby brine is pretty much irresistible. Feed small foods for now even if you don't see them, they will poke their heads out and get it.

The difficulty with these guys is not getting them to eat, they will pretty much gobble up any small food that floats by including flakes within a couple weeks. Live shrimp are unlikely to be taken, something the size of a piscine mysis is on the way too big side for them and they are planktivores. They generally ignore stuff that hangs on the sand.

Yesterday one was out in front of tank and eating and it was awesome.
Today he wasn't there....found him out in the back of the tank....how can I get him to the front again??

Make the front of the tank the preferred place to be.

I will definitely wait. I was thinking not feeding him so he may think there's food in the front?

These guys are great. Might be perfect for a coral-only tank, or NPS tank.
