Doesn't anyone know anything about them.. I can't get any info.. what can you get them to eat... y do some sites consider them not reef safe?

They will except mysis and brine just fine but they need a very deep sand bed to thrive. 6-8" as they spend their entire lives in the sand and do get quite large ( 14-16")

frozen cyclopeeze, chopped/minced mysis, and occasionally some live brine would be great. as mentioned, a very deep sand bed, and slow-eating tank mates, as they will typically only extend ~6" out of their burrow to snag food as it comes by. they also ship very poorly, but the ones who survive the initial die-off usually do fine. one of my all-time favorite animals. try to mimic a setting like this:

That tank looks like it'd be pretty nice. Huge deep sand bed for the eels, school of anthias for the water column.

I wonder how big it is though. Looks big...

i'm not necessarily suggesting one that size, just one similar in scope. and it's 4000 gal.
