Garden Eels?

Has anybody had or does have garden eels?

I did a fair amount of research on them (cause I really wanted one), but most resources I found recommended a 6" to 8" minimum sand bed. And that was kinda a deal breaker.

Would be interested myself if anyone in the club kept one sucessfully with a standard sandbed or if you have to put them in a species tank.

I have been reading several post that was successful. I would like to get another tank and try. After this next project I will be going to.
