I asked the same question a while back so I decided to get some to give it a try. There is alot of life in that grunge that you get from them. Everything from stars, pods, snails and anything else that you can think of. I have to give it a thumbs up on it.

Id give it a thumbs up as well. I'm going to have to get a nother lb to seed my fuge once I get it up and runnin again. Only downside is some of the gravel they have mixed in sticks out like a sore thumb if you use it to seed the display tank.

A few weeks ago there was a thread on garf grunge where everyone was trashing it. I've bought a few pounds and didn't see anything "live" in it. Don't waste your $ IMO.

GARF stands for Geothermic Aquaculture Research Foundation
They blinded me with science. SCIENCE. (Or at least a scientific-sounding name .

Donations are not tax deductible.

:hammer: <------How GARF makes grunge from live rock.
