can add alot of nutrients to a tank via garlic...kind of contrary to SPS methodology...but it does have Vitamin c which is good for fish...i only used it in past if there was ich on a fish..
if you want to enrich your food...its better to use SELCON
garlic is not needed for corals and will have no benefit for them
