Gauging interest in Aquanetics 1/5 Hp Chiller.

Thinking about getting a bigger chiller as mine is undersized for my tank. Have 1/5 HP Aquanetics Inline Chiller. Has controller in unit. Looking to get around $300. Let me know if interested or would like pics.

So, if you use this in conjuction with a heater would it be possible to keep the temperature by +/-1 degree or better?

How big of a tank is that good for? My tanks have always pushed 83/84F in the summer...
How old is it? Is it in good shape? I can't plop down 300 bones fer reef stuff unless my wife sees SOMETHING nifty - so I'd have to work extra hard to convince her that the the difference in 3 or 4 degrees is sooo important. Maybe I need Al Gore to explain that INCONVEINIENT TRUTH to her. :bum:

I have had it on my 180 Gallon tank. It is undersized for that size but easily takes my temp down 5-7 degrees and maybe more but that is about all I have ever needed it do. It is in good shape but is several years old. It sat around unused for most of its time. It presently is hooked up. I've got a lot of pm's so if I don't answer you right away I will get to it shortly.

Trippy isn't it? I saw that thing staring me down the other day at just the right angle. It's a single large polyp with two mouths. No photoshopped faces. That's the way it looks.
