GBTA coloring

hello everyone,
last march i bought a very badly bleached BTA. when i bought it, it was white with some green highlights in it. now it's brown with some green, which is good because it recovered....but is there a way to get it green?

soon i'll be starting the zeovit method in the tank and i wonder if that will help bring out the green color.

or maybe it just needs more time?

thanks

I would guess that the color it is now is its true color.. to make it greener would probably mean to deprive it or give it more of a certain wavelength, which is pretty difficult without affecting the rest of the tank.

it should regain its color.. mine was completely white then brown now it is more green than anything else with a hint of brown.. it takes time

when i first got it i fed it sliversides....but it had problems taking the whole silverside so....now i feed it krill ocasionally. it keeps growing so i guess that's a good thing. i'll check karensroses out.

thanks for the help everyone

here are some pics as promised, finally....

here is just after i bought it, at the time it was under stock Biocube PC:

i know the aglae is bad right now, i like to feed my fish! i'm getting a sapphire skimmer soon, and i'll be starting the zeovit method in the tank soon too...so i hope that will go away.

let me know what you think
