After my lights went off my GBTA decided to start wandering in my tank. It ended up getting some of its tenticles stuck inside the rio 800 of my CPR Skimmer. I caught it before it got really sucked into it and turned the skimmer off and moved the GBTA. It looks like it could be hurt pretty badly on one side. Is it going to be ok or will this die. What should i do i dont want an anenome to die inside my tank cause I dont think that will be good for the rest of my livestock. Other than that now my skimmer wont turn back on. I need help fast.

If you have strong lighting and your water quality is good, it might recover.

I don't really think I can help you with the protein skimmer. I would have to look at it to tell you whats wrong.

take out the pump for the skimmer and try cleaning it out, tentacles might have jammed it

usually the BTA will either split or die after it goes through something like this

just keep an eye on it and be prepared to take it out

run carbon if u can

Ok my lights came on and i took some pictures of what it looks like after being caught in the PH.

First here is a couple of pics of what it looked like before so there is something to compare it too.

What does everyone think? How does it look?

It doesn't look like its in immediate threat, it just looks a little smaller than b4. But like everyone else has said, just keep an eye on it and monitor it for the next couple of days.
