gbta help, advice

A local guy was selling 2 clowns I wanted, but he was breaking his tank down, so I had to take all contents of the tank, 2 clowns, ywg, couple shrimp, emerald crab, a bunch of corals, snails, rock, and a gbta.
Didn't even know the gbta was in there until found it under a birdsnest coral when I popped it off the rock.
The thing looked pathetic when I found it.
As some of the corals were bleached, I suspect he was running his LED's way too high.
So, I put the anemone in a glass and put the glass on the sand.
During the day, the gbta looks pretty bad, but at night, he inflates and looks pretty good, almost happy.
Moved the glass to the back corner, the darkest part of the tank.
Still does not like the light, but looks pretty much normal at night time when just the moonlights are on.
So, the question is, what do I do with this guy?
I have a Red Sea max 250, 66 gallon tank, running 6 T5's.
Why is he so light adverse?

Just let him go dude. Let him do his thang, he will likely hide until he gets himself acclimated to your lighting.

Not really bothering him, he's in a glass in the back corner, free to do whatever he wants.

Likely he wont move from the glass freely unless the conditions where you placed him are bad. Btas like to hide their base in a hole or crevice that completely protects it and the shape of the inside of a glass is the perfect example.
When I first got my rbta I made the mistake of putting it in the opening of a big conch shell and he refused to move out of it no matter where I moved the shell to he would not budge. It wasnt until 8 months later it decided to step out of the shell and I quickly took it away from the rbta.
Just my opinion.

So, the nem is looking better in his glass, actually puffing up to about 2-3".
Did a big coral/rock move in the tank last weekend.
With that, he had to be moved, as his glass would no longer fit in the back corner.
So, I moved him to the front corner on the sand.
Put a rock in the glass hoping he would attach to it so he could be moved to the tank.
Was doing pretty good for a day or 2, attached to the top of the rock (which is almost out of the glass) and he was puffed up, tentacles waving in the breeze.
Well today, he is now moving under the rock.
I swear, this thing hates light.
Not much fun if he's going to disappear into the rocks never to be seen again if I release him in the tank.
Of course if he wanted to, he could crawl that 2 inches up the glass and escape himself, but he chooses to go under the rock.

Here's a picture of my sad, light adverse nem :(
Good picture of his foot though.

Yeah, I know that.
He was on top of the rock but crawled under it to get away from the light, I presume.
