GBTA jumped off his rock!

My green bubble tip anemone jumped off his perch. I've had him for months and he's never moved. He had his foot wedged in a rock crevice near the top of the tank. He's been on the same rock since I got him from a friend.

Last night when I went to turn the lights off he had jumped off onto a flat rock nearby. He looked like he might be trying to climb back on the original rock, so I was trying to lay the rock against him. The problem with that is the cinnamon clown he hosts. The little guy is so mad he won't let me put my hands anywhere near the 'nem. He bites the heck out of me if I get near it.

So now the 'nem is wedged down between two rocks near the top of the tank. He's fully open and his tentacles are waving all over and touching some palys.

What should I do to coax him back on the original rock? Why would he move like that?

Water parameters are normal:
SG=1.026
pH=8.5
Amm=0
Nitrite=0
Nitrate=0
Phosphate=.25-.5
Calcium=470
Alk=10 dkH
Temp=80 F

Nothing.. The nem will go, stay, or move wherever he wants as the mood suits him.. Or her.. LOL

That's essentially what I was thinking. But, for one, I'm wondering what made him jump like that. I read somewhere else that they might be prone to do something like that when they're getting ready to split, which might be a possibility since he hasn't split yet even though I feed him often.

Then, I'm worried that he will sting my other stuff on his little trip.
