I put a gbta in my tank 4 days ago. It attached wherre i placed it. The next day it moved about 3inches over and attached there. lLast night it moved again behind all of the LR. How do I get it to the front of the tank again? I dont want to damage it so is there a way to get it to move by it self? It was in a tank with 250wMH and I have 205 w t5. there is very low flow behind the Lr

its going to move wherever it wants to... you can keep trying to move it to where you want, but its ultimately going to go where its happy and has the flow and lighting that it wants. you might try changing the flow pattern within the tank, but that is about all you can do. You shouldn't try pulling it off the rock either you will just end up damaging its foot. If you are desperately wanting to move it you can redirect the flow of the water to make it want to move or you can move the rock, but as said don't try to man handle it...

I wouldn't suggest anything more than changing the waterflow direction. You can't make it go anywhere unfortunately. Mine never moved for 4 years until it split, then they just moved about 4" over to a bigger rock.

Directing higher flow should move him since you said he was in low flow behind the rocks .

You just never know with them. I put mine in high flow when I recently moved ,wanting him to duck around the corner to the perfect spot. He stayed there in the high flow !
He had previuosly been in lower flow before the move.
You just never know .
