Gbta question

Is it normal for a gbta to retract daily ? It eats regularly and doesn't move around. It has been in my tank for 6 months and seems to be retracting more often than before. I do have a clown that hosts it and my water is excellent s.g. 1.024, ph 8.3, amm, trite and trate are 0 ppm alk 11 dkh. Any ideas or is this characteristics of a gbta ? Thanks in advance

Just a blind guess, but could your clown be pretty rough on the anemone ?

Are your water parameters stable or are there some swings?

Yeah my clown is a little rough but she hasn't seem to bother it before. Only swing in water is ph was 8.0 yesterday, normally check it every other day no other swings in water parameters
