GBTA Split!!!!

I went down stairs last night and something was wrong.... My big green bubble tip had moved and looked quite a bit smaller!!!! Before I could turn on the light I realized he must have split while we were gone. Sure enough, I have two gorgeous green bubble tip anemones a few inches apart in the middle of the tank. I have an orange bta on either end of the tank, so it should look great once they all get a little bigger!

By the way, this is the first time I've had an anemone split so it's quite exciting!!!!

Cool, mine split while I was gone also..hopefully I'll get to see it next time..

I have it for 3-4 months now. Disc size was probably close to 6" or so. The funny thing is the larger anemone is probably close to 4" and the smaller one looks to be about 3". It is possible it was larger than I though at the time of the split, but I am thinking the animal was elongated... the wider part of the clone is what was actually the narrower part of the original.

My camera doesn't take good photos of anything in water, but I will try to get a shot or two for reference.

I am really excited, my first success with the reef!
