GBTA Split!

Hi All
My green bubble tip anemone just split and wanted to put one of them in my other tank. What is the best way to accomplish this? Should I break the rock below the anemone?
Thanks for any info!
Sean

You can massage the foot until it releases (I have had to do this for long periods of times to get them to release) or you can ice the foot gently, the cold will irritate it so it will release either way you need to be careful

You can just wait a few days.
Mine usually move on their own to another rock or the glass within a few days of splitting.

I'd give it a few days or weeks. Get past the first feeding anyways which is about 10 days away. Congrats, btw.

Thanks everyone! It was very exciting to see them split!
Here is a pic :D

IS tahat a BB tank ? If so iit may have oit s foo attached to the galss, in that case it will be easy to get it out Nice bta by the way!

Yes Charlie, it is a BB and its awfully close to the acrylic. I was thinking of pushing the LR back a little so it wouldn't attach itself to the it.
So I shouldn't hack the LR in half eh?
